Terms of Service

Last updated September 29, 2026 · Privacy Policy

In plain words

  • We run a marketplace. We do not employ anyone and we are not part of any job you arrange here.
  • Every hiring decision, and the law around it, belongs to the company that hires.
  • We do not check licenses, insurance, background or work history.
  • Workers never pay. Companies pay for plans and contacts.
  • A phone number you open here is for talking about work, nothing else.

1. Who we are

Roofexa Workforce (“we”, “us”) connects roofing and exterior companies with the people who do the work. The company that runs it, and its address, will be named here before launch.

By creating an account or using the site you agree to these terms.

2. Accounts

Workers sign in with a code we email them; the first code creates the account. Companies sign up with a work email and a password, and one email belongs to one company.

Whoever creates a company account is its admin and answers for the people they invite. Keep your sign-in to yourself and tell us if you think someone else used it.

3. Hiring is the company's responsibility

Every hire is the company's decision. So is everything around it:

  • whether someone is an employee or an independent contractor,
  • pay, overtime, payroll taxes and withholding,
  • workers' compensation and other insurance,
  • checking that a person may legally work,
  • licenses, permits and safety training,
  • following anti-discrimination law in postings, questions and choices.

We are not a party to any job, subcontract or agreement between a company and a worker, and we do not employ anyone we list. Nothing on this site is legal, tax or employment advice, and we do not guarantee that a license, certificate or insurance policy shown or mentioned here is real or current.

4. Worker profiles and contact

Keep your profile true. You choose whether you show up in search, and separately whether companies may open your phone number and email. Turning contact off stops any new company from seeing your details; companies that already opened them keep what they wrote down.

Workers never pay: not for a profile, not to apply, not to answer a message.

5. Plans, contacts and credits

Companies choose a plan. Each plan includes a number of contacts a month; opening a worker's phone and email uses one, and opening the same worker again costs nothing. Extra contacts are credits at $6 each. New companies start with a 14-day free trial.

Current prices are on the pricing page. Online payment is not open yet; the payment terms will be added here when it is.

6. What you may not do

Do not:

  • copy, scrape or resell the marketplace or anything in it;
  • use a phone number or email you open here for anything but a job you are hiring for;
  • post a job that is not real, that charges workers, or that shuts people out for who they are;
  • create fake profiles or pretend to be someone else;
  • send bulk or unrelated messages;
  • try to get around limits, payments or security.

We may suspend or close an account that does.

7. What we do not promise

We do not promise that a company will hire you or that you will find someone, that a profile or a job post is accurate, or that the site is always available. We work to keep it running and fix what breaks.

8. Limits on our liability

The site is provided as it is. The exact limits on our liability are being written with a lawyer and will be added here before launch.

9. Closing an account

You can stop using the site at any time. To close your account and have your data deleted, write to us from the contact page. The Privacy Policy says what is deleted and what a company keeps.

10. Changes, law and contact

When these terms change we post the new version here with a new date. The governing law and the place for any dispute will be set here before launch. Questions go through the contact page.
